Your rights in plain language: You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, or stop us from using it — all by sending a single email to dr.aditisomvanshi@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days, free of charge.

1. What Rights You Have

If you are located in the European Union or EEA, the GDPR gives you the following rights over any personal data that Dr. Aditi Somvanshi holds about you:

📋 Right of Access

Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you, including what it is, why we have it, and who it has been shared with.

✏️ Right to Rectification

Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data we hold about you.

🗑️ Right to Erasure

Ask us to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to any legal obligations to retain records.

⏸️ Right to Restrict Processing

Ask us to limit how we use your data while a dispute is being resolved, or while you verify its accuracy.

📦 Right to Data Portability

Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format (e.g. JSON or CSV) so you can transfer it to another provider.

🚫 Right to Object

Object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time. We will stop unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds.

↩️ Right to Withdraw Consent

Withdraw your consent to process health data at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing already done.

⚖️ Right to Complain

4. Limits on Erasure

We will erase your data unless we are legally required to retain it. As a healthcare provider, Indian medical standards require us to keep patient records for 7 years after the last consultation. In that case we will explain this clearly when we respond to your request and will restrict access to only what is legally required.

6. Supervisory Authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority at any time without first contacting us. For users in Spain:

For users in other EU/EEA countries, contact your national DPA. A full list is available at edpb.europa.eu.
